Happy Rednesday!

Rendesday readers, be sure to read to the end to find out about my current give-away!!

Oh my goodness it's already rednesday, ladies! How the time flies! I have some loverlies to share with you today from my kitchen. if you're a long-time friend of this blog, you may have seen some of these already in the background of photos, but they're loverlies all the same.

I looooooove this old plastic coffee container. Isn't it cute? I would love to have a whole set of these old red and white plastic containers from (I'm pretty sure) the 1950s. I found this little one at an antique store a while back in a 50% off booth. It doesn't actually hold coffee because I keep mine in the freezer, but it looks super cute on my pantry shelf.

I want to collect more of these nice old milk bottles, but I can't BELIEVE the amount some of these dealers want to charge you for them. 35 dollars for a milk bottle? 40? CRAZY. I saw a fw this weekend at garage sales for much more reasonable prices, but they weren't the right color scheme. Green? In my kitchen? Why I never...

Here's another old loverly from the antique store mark-down section. Who doesn't love old washboards? My guy was cheaper than usual because it has some nails in it, but I think the nails just add to its character and Ilove the dark, rich burgundy color of the metal.

The last item for this week's Rednesday is very special; it is a hand-made apron made my dear from Sarah D, who comments regularly on my blog. She's such a talented gal and such a giving friend, she made one like it and I complimented it and... I received my very own apron in the mail a week or so later.

Here's a shot of me wearing it. It makes me feel glamorous when I'm dusting!

Look at the lovely cherry detail and isn't the black and white checkered backing too cute? LOVE it!

And Sarah's beautiful apron is a great segue into a reminder to any of my regular readers, or an introduction for any rednesday readers, about my Vintage Apron Giveaway. Simply click here or on the button above to find out the details! And be sure to skip over to It's a Very Cherry World to enjoy more RED today!
My next post will be a Homemaking goals report card. Stay tuned to find out if it's a celebration of a "confessionial". :)
Blessings, ladies, thanks for stopping by!

I've never seen a coffee container like that before. Very cute. The apron is so much fun! Your milk bottle reminds me I have a few too, and at least one is has red graphics. I got lucky though, hubby grew up on a dairy and has been collecting them for a long time.

I agree about the washboard. The nails give it character.
Great post, everything looks lovely.
